Isaac Martens

Isaac Martens is an environmental scientist researching water treatment in the Elk Valley. Previously, he was an X-ray diffraction specialist in the Structure of Materials and X-ray Nanoprobe groups at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF). He completed his PhD in Chemistry at the University of British Columbia in Fall 2018 under the supervision of Profs. D.P. Wilkinson and D. Bizzotto.

Outside the lab, you can find him scuba diving in the ocean below, or peering up through a telescope.
